Today we are joined by our good buddy and multiple Emmy's person. How many Emmy nominations and how many?

How many? I think this is I think this is eight nominations one one win. I think that's eight. Yes. That's a beast.

If you haven't figured out Jason Thompson.

Peter Bergman we were talking about this and he's like you know I think I've had 25 nominations and he's like you know the truth of the matter I've lost 23 times.

So 22 times whatever it is but I know how it goes. It's fun. That was a pretty good that was a pretty good impersonation by the way.

That's that's how that like him. There was something I don't know he's got these rounded toes whereas like yeah, it's very yeah.

Yes. So I mean does it I imagine it's still exciting but it's just fun to be part of it. It's just be fun fun to be a part of the crew. Right? Like the super exciting man.

I love it. You know, I mean, truth is it's always one of those things you dream when you're when you're a little one or you're growing up and you want to be invited to the party.

You want to be kind of somewhat recognized but I think we've said this before the last time we talked it's it's it's that's the there's a little bit of a driving force to just kind of keep doing it to try and keep showing up to try and keep doing your best work.

It's not always what it's about but it's part of it for me. I you know, I try and show up and do what I can with the material and when this time of year comes around.

You know, you wait and see and then when when you are invited to the party. It's great. If you're not, it's all good. You just try and earn the next one. And that's kind of what it is for me.

So yeah, so totally appreciate it. So the first thing is you don't try you do. So let's just stop that word now.

But also like growing up you weren't dreaming of Emmys you were dreaming of Stanley cups. So that's it was my version of a Stanley Cup. Yeah. So I never I was around the Stanley Cup a couple of times and I never touched it in my whole entire whatever now it is 16 years the only Emmy I've ever touched is the one that I got.

I never ever. I never touched another Emmy. I remember doing promo was like super superstition baby. It's not mine. You got to earn it yourself. It's not mine.

That's awesome. Where were you when you got word this time? It was actually very cool. We were we were on set. We were working. Awesome. So Peter and I were in the middle of the scene and my phone was in my pocket and it started buzzing.

So I'm like in the middle of the scene and I'm reaching into my pocket, trying to turn my phone off and then massive shuts off. And then my you know how we do like because of COVID we stopped kind of using scripts and we kind of went to iPads some of us.

So then my iPad is stuff behind pillow and then my iPads will like.
