I do feel like you do know everything about trainers. It's a blessing and a curse all at the same time.

It doesn't make for good, you know, party conversation, that's for sure. Are you kidding? The amount of times people have come to me and gone, hey Jenny, I really want to know about this trainer and I've gone the best person to ask is Emma.

And then, as you know, through the years, you just get random messages from people going, Jenny's told me to come and ask you.

questions. But you are the font of all knowledge when it comes to trainers. Yeah, I think,

you know what, it's almost kind of, it wasn't a purposeful choice. That sounds really weird,

but it wasn't something that I decided that I wanted to do when I was younger. I kind of fell into it.

Long story short, it was my first job as a 13-year-old working in a trainer shop and learning about how to fit running shoes.

And then from there, I went to university, studied sports science, ended up working for brands like Nike and runners world and all these

different places. And then, yeah, kind of have just fallen into working with shoes constantly.

My last job before I became a running strength coach as my full time was as a footwear buyer at a place called

Profeet where we would do gate analysis and I across my five years probably saw, oh, I'm

plucking at random numbers here, but we're going to say at least, at least a thousand runners,

at least over the five years, seeing what was going on with their feet and injuries and

niggles and from that trying to fit the best shoe to them and so I've seen you know everyone from
