I'm going to tell you the truth, I did not really have this on my radar.

I think all of us assumed that there was going to be an extension for Christian

Darisaw eventually after he has established himself as one of the best left tackles in the NFL, but I didn't know that we were bringing back a tradition

from the previous regime, which was a huge contract extension

for some star player just as training camp begins. And that is exactly what we have here for

Christian Darisaw so if you have not seen the details I've got it from Adam

Shefter right here it is four-year contract extension, which I would assume starts after this year, for $113 million, 77 guaranteed and 43.7 guaranteed at signing. That would be the fully guaranteed

number. And so I have taken a look at over the cap.com and taken a peek through

2029 okay that's what I expected so I have taken a peek at how this

compares to the rest of the NFL and yes this does make Christian

Darisaw the highest paid per year as long as my iPhone calculator is

correct for his four-year extension. Four years 113 makes it almost 29 million per year,

which tops Laramie Tunssel,

and so does the $77 million guaranteed guaranteed the total guarantees which is a little bit higher

than the highest in the NFL and 43.7 fully guaranteed at signing.

If that is the fully guaranteed number for Darasaw,

that would put him at third in the NFL.

And this couldn't be better.
