which will be effective in 14 days. Exactly a week ago the New York Attorney

General released a report that accused Cuomo of sexually harassing 11

women most of whom were government workers. Since then Democrats all the way up

to President Joe Biden have called for his resignation and the New York state

legislature said it would impeach and remove him if he did not resign. His

announcement today was not telegraphed in advance. His lawyer started the press

conference by rebutting many of the details in the Attorney General's report but

later Cuomo said that he would resign rather than engage in a drawn out
