no matter how hard it rains in my city. Hello, everybody, and welcome to an emergency edition of Real Hawk Talk. I am Brian Nemhauser. I'm joined here today by Dana O'Gorman at Danny O.G on Twitter, Jeff Simmons at Real Jeff Simmons on Twitter. And Evan Hill will join us in a little bit when he is able to free himself. News of the day, if you have been under a Seahawks rock and haven't heard, Pete Carroll will no longer be the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks

moving forward. He will take on some sort of advisory role that is not yet defined. John Schneider

will remain as general manager. He will be in charge of hiring a new coach and will start that

search right away if hasn't already started.

Pete Carroll will not have say in who that person is, and his overall role in influencing

organization is to be determined. He just finished a press conference, and if you have not

seen that, I highly recommend you take,

if you're invested enough to be watching our show, you should be invested enough to watch that

press conference. It was a really, it was a really well, I think it was just an appropriate way

for Pete to step down and the way that he did and the way he

hand himself. And so I highly recommend it. I'm going to start here. You know, I think watching

that press conference was just the latest confirmation that while everyone's going to spend a lot of time talking about Pete Carroll as a

coach and his accomplishments as a coach, and we will do that as well. Pete Carroll, the person,

I think, is incredibly unique and special, and he closed his tenure here with the same type of

unique class and personality and vision that
