Hey folks Scott Weingard here and this is an amcrit Wii. Now I knew there would be a lot of feedback to the

pre-oxy trial episode and people who had just read the paper and then came to

Mcrit wanting to comment on it.

And I got some amazing feedback emails and comments on the post itself.

And I just want to respond to some of them

because I think there's some nuances here that are particularly interesting.

So let's roll right in.

So I got an email from my buddy Justin Morgan Stern of the first 10 EM blog,

and he's always brilliant at this evidentiary analysis and he called me out on one of the

statements I made in which he's absolutely right about I said this now establishes

the benefits of non-invasive and you know positive mean

airway pressure pre-oxination beyond a shadow of a doubt and I was just

over exuberant I shouldn't say that now what fed into that comment is I've been saying this stuff for years prior to a large

Multicenter randomized control trial and so now that I have one I feel pretty assured that this is

representing objective reality but that being said nothing nothing not even

gravity is beyond a shadow of a doubt so I never should use a phrase like that.

I was just over excited.

Okay, so I will go back to,

I'm pretty damn sure

rather than beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Okay, now he said, yeah, I love the trial,
