Hey folks, Scott Wongard here, and this is an M-Crip podcast. Today on the podcast, I had a Twitter interaction with an anesthesiologist.

You'll meet him shortly, and he basically, after I had done a podcast at the beginning of the year on Airway Update 2026, talking about the DAS Airway guidelines, and I talked about the assessment of a potentially

difficult airway from anatomical and physiological perspectives.

And he had written on Twitter the actual tweets or, I don't know what you call them X's.

The Xs are in the show notes, but he had basically called my airway assessment recommendations outdated,

and I told him he should come on the show and tell me why he thought that was true.

And we had a very long debate.

It was enjoyable for me.

I don't know how enjoyable it would be for you, so I've heavily edited it.

But whenever I edit a debate, I put the original there linked.

But I think I've gotten in the true meat of the interaction.

He is a primary progenitor of a app on Airway Triage, which I will discuss

shortly, which I'm a big fan of. I had actually been using the app for educational purposes

even prior to our debate. And I'll talk about why I think most people who love Airway will

benefit from downloading that app.

But we had a debate and there were some areas of contention. I hope it'll be interesting.
