Hey folks, Scott Wongard here, and this is an M-Crip podcast. Today on the podcast, I had a Twitter interaction with an anesthesiologist.

0:08.9

You'll meet him shortly, and he basically, after I had done a podcast at the beginning of the year on Airway Update 2026, talking about the DAS Airway guidelines, and I talked about the assessment of a potentially

0:21.7

difficult airway from anatomical and physiological perspectives.

0:25.3

And he had written on Twitter the actual tweets or, I don't know what you call them X's.

0:30.3

The Xs are in the show notes, but he had basically called my airway assessment recommendations outdated,

1:20.8

even prior to our debate. And I'll talk about why I think most people who love Airway will

1:26.7

benefit from downloading that app.

1:28.3

But we had a debate and there were some areas of contention. I hope it'll be interesting.

1:34.2

A lot of discussion about my vision of Airway philosophy and preparation and all sorts of good stuff

1:42.0

around that. So if you like Airway, you should like

1:45.5

this podcast. If you don't like Airway, it's going to be boring as hell. All right, why don't we
