We dig into a little bit of baseball news. You should know a couple injuries be falling to Tampa Bay raise just eight days ahead of the trade deadline. Our main focus today is going to be on high chase rate hitters, players that pop on the O-Swing percentage leaderboard in a bad way, but seem to get away with that,

because there are some guys that are getting away with it now that may not get away with it in the long run.

We'll talk about a few guys who've gone through that part of the aging curve, one of which,

rumored to be on the block at this deadline, Luis Robert.

So tons of ground to cover today.

We'll also take a look at some drama in Atlanta over the weekend with the Yankees and another sign-stealing incident that appeared to unfold on the field there.

So gentlemen, let's get started with some news here.

Brandon Lau lands on the 10-day aisle, what the rays are calling left foot and ankle tendonitis.

No timetable for his return right now.

The adjustment most likely is Taylor Walls plays short.

Hassan Kim slides over and plays second base, as long as Kim himself is healthy.

He's banged up, so we could see a little bit of Jose Caballero in the next few days as well.

But, you know, I think we've talked about the raise time and time again, a difficult

team to read going into any trade deadline because they always seem willing to trade guys

off of the big league roster.

And Brandon Lau is the guy on this show that we're always trying to trade to somebody else.

With a $10 million contract, he makes too much for the raise.

Yeah, I think this might actually be the weird injury that keeps him on the team.

The weird part for me is just play Jonathan Aranda at second base.
