Embrace the chaos

I had actually someone say this to a new mom once

She's like look just embrace the chaos your house is gonna be messy

You're not

going to be sleeping it's going to be loud there's going to be stuff

everywhere embrace the chaos. I love that statement because so much of our

stress comes from resistance, right?

Thinking that something should be different or believing that something about our

situation is wrong.

And I think to myself, is a new parent with all the many moving parts that that involves

are they doing something wrong is there something that needs to be fixed or is it just time to embrace the chaos, right? Life has different cycles.

There are busy seasons, there are calmer seasons, just like nature, right? There's summer, where so much is happening and we're out there. There's winter where we

hibernate a little bit more. Everyone's life cycle is a bit different. There's spring, there's new

beginnings, there's fall, which is beautiful, but it's all about endings. What if we could just

embrace the chaos a little bit more? Whatever it is, maybe you're in a very

very busy season of your life, maybe you want a book coming out, or you're going through some transition, or you're getting something cool off the ground, like a new business, or whatever it is, whatever chaos you may be experiencing right now, instead of resisting it,

thinking that you don't have enough balance, or thinking that something's wrong,

what if it's all even perfect in the madness?

Whenever I go through mega busy seasons,

Embrace the chaos is like a lovely mantra that I come back to.
