It's been a bad morning for Elon Musk, which means it's been a good one for the rest of us.

First, his Twitter crashed, not once, not twice, but three times in a single day.

Actually, it was less than a day.

And when I say his Twitter, I don't mean his Twitter account, I mean the whole of Twitter,

crashed three times.

The multiple crashes may be caused in part because Musk's tech empire is at this point

basically held together with duct tape popsicle sticks and self-delusion, which pretty much

describes the rest of his life.

The site down detector showed more than 40,000 outage reports around 10 o'clock this morning,

with other major outages peaking around 5 and 11 a.m.

Who would have thought that gutting your entire workforce and firing key engineers was an ill-advised business move?

After declining comments to the press for hours, leaving advertisers and users completely in the dark,

Musk tweeted about this situation at approximately 1.30 p.m. Eastern time, saying, writing, quote,

there was, still is, a massive cyber attack against X.

We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large,

coordinated group and or a country is involved. Tracing, unquote. Ooh, sounds very spycrafty.

A country. Well, I wonder who he's trying to ramp up paranoia about, I guess we're going to find out.

This latest crash comes off what has been, I think, objectively speaking, a pretty disastrous weekend for Musk as well.

Protests erupted against Tesla across the United States and Europe.

Doge, the Department of Government Efficiency,

the illegal and unconstitutional and fictional agency that Musk actually runs is in chaos with lawsuits piling up and Amy Gleason, whom I'll talk about in a bit, being set up as the fall guy.

And Musk just picked a fight with
