Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here and today of course we're going to be talking about Elon Musk

and his decision to take a stake in Twitter, but we've also got news on Giga Shanghai,

Giga Texas, FSD, Supercharging and a few other topics as well, and we'll also circle

back for a couple more thoughts on Tesla's delivery and production report from this weekend.

Alright, we'll start off with the stock and nice day for Tesla today following that

delivery report, up 5.6% to close at $1,145 per share, and now all of a sudden we are

back within $100 of Tesla's all-time high, and this was a top 10 closing price for Tesla

today.

Definitely a tailwind from the macro environment, so I wouldn't attribute this move entirely

to the delivery report, the NASDAQ today was up 1.9% versus the Dow just 0.3%.

As we know, generally that's going to be a pretty good day for growth stocks, and if we look

at other electric vehicle companies, Neo up almost 9% today, X-Bang up 7.5%, Tesla there

5.5% with Lee, but even ARC up 4.4% today, so the delivery report certainly was not detrimental

to the movement, but I also want to feel comfortable just saying, oh, Tesla was up 5% because

of the delivery report.

I think the volume paints the same picture, not a particularly high volume day today for

Tesla about 26-27 million shares traded, which is almost exactly average for year to

date, and about 13% below the average Monday's volume, which tends to be a little bit higher.

Alright, another quick thing I want to mention here at the beginning, just because I didn't

actually notice it when we were doing the live stream from the delivery report this weekend,
