Our next door neighbor, Mick, whom we speak of fondly, we speak of often, the kale that

I gave him is flourishing. So he has these leafy, beautiful kale plants. And last night,

and I were desperate for some kale. We had the kale dressing. We are favorite salad

dressing. We realized we didn't have our own kale because the wood shucks have eaten.

I don't want to get started on that, but they nibbled mine down to little nubs. So we

snuck into Mick's garden. I felt like a Beatrix potter character. And we started taking

his, we took his kale because he doesn't eat it and lent it like his wood chuck.

Exactly. Yeah. I'm glad he didn't do what he would do to probably the wood shucks. I

also took a bush beer from his refrigerator because I was out of beer and Kate had the

idea to replace it with a bag of cosmic puffs. I don't know. That's an equal trade for him.

For him, you don't think that's easy to make me out. I was thinking selfishly. That would

be an easy trade for me, a bag of cosmic puffs for two bush beers and some kale that I don't

eat. Anyway, this morning, this today I saw him and I said, I would try to make a joke. I said,

hey, it looks like the wood shucks are nibbling on your kale, too. It looks like a couple of leaves

are gone. He goes, yeah, maybe it happened right around 803. Oh, you're on camera?

I guess the point is, this is a public service announcement. When you're stealing

garden vegetables from your neighbor, you want to maybe wear a costume, maybe a wood

costume or something, be aware that you might be on camera. And let's hope he doesn't press
