In December of 1844, a 17-year-old girl named Ellen G. Harman was at a prayer meeting when she

received a vision. She saw a group of people ascending a high in narrow path.

Some of the people fell off the path into darkness, but Jesus beckoned the people toward a glorious

heavenly realm whose marvels Ellen was shown. This was her first vision and she went on to

receive more than 2,000 revelations. This led to her becoming the co-founder and prophetess

of the 7th day Adventist Church under her married name of Ellen G. White.

So who was Ellen G. White? What did her vision disclose? And was she a genuine prophetess?
