Strout with us. And to my mind, her books are treasures. You know her characters well. She's

written two books all about Olive Kittridge, and Olive has actually appeared in other things that

she's written. She's written, what, three books I think about Lucy Barton, and I love those two characters.

She's written about Bob Burgess. And today, we're going to talk about a new book that she has

just out called Tell Me Everything. And it's kind of like Elizabeth Stroud and the All-Stars,

because they're all in this book. Olive is back. Lucy Barton is back. Bob Burgess is back. William, the estranged

husband of Lucy Barton. They're all here. And it's just a delight to have them all in one place.

Yeah. And I remember when I got the book and I read the back and it became clear that Olive's

world and Lucy's world were going to come together in this book. And I remember

thinking, this is one of those great moments where I remember thinking, can she pull this off?

Because it's not that I can't tell that those books are written by the same people, but those

characters are so distinct. Their worlds are so distinct, even though they live in close proximity.
