Today I'm speaking with a true legend, celebrity stylist Elizabeth Salzman.

Elizabeth is the force behind the impeccable style of some of Hollywood's most talented women, think,

Certia Ronin, Jody Comer, Sandra O, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But Elizabeth actually avoided the fashion industry

in her early years because of her mother, who was the

fashion director for Saxe and Bergdorfs.

Wanting to blaze her own trail, Elizabeth set out to pursue architecture and became heavily involved in the downtown

New York nightclub and art scene.

However, she couldn't avoid her fashion destiny for long and ended up taking a retail job at the Madonna

approved fashion destination parachute. From there, she was recruited to work at Georgia

Armani before making yet another pivot into publishing

an editorial work, first as a senior fashion editor at Vogue and then as the fashion director at Vanity Fair. After spending 20 years

at some of the most iconic publications and labels in fashion, industry experts

suggested Elizabeth Try applying her impressive sartorial eye to celebrity styling.

At the time, her friend Gwynne Paltrow also just so happened to be looking for a stylist. The two teamed up to create
