And Champ Mons has committed to the University of Notre Dame, folks. It is a done deal.

Champ is a Notre Dame commit.

You guys know how we're going to get down. We already previewed a little bit of the backstory. We talked about Champ Mons yesterday, but this is an absolutely massive, massive recruit. We're going to talk class impact. Any excuse to dive into this kid's film again, I am all down for even though we did it about 24 hours ago. We got some new film, Trev. Got some new film today that we're going to watch.

Okay. Is it the stuff you sent me over before the show started day? Yeah. Always down to dive into some more film, man. But look, we're talking about 2027 quarterback. He's a recruit from Vero Beach High School in Florida. He's 2, 225 pounds. champ minds like you talked about.

He reclassified from the 2028 class,

which makes him a really strong fit for this one. But Brian, no doubt about it, this is an absolutely huge commitment. Oh, this is huge. And it's an interesting story, Trev. He's only 16 years old, right? But he's built. I mean, when you, we saw him at one of the practices he was at, and you're like,

this kid is built like a junior in college. I mean, he's a put together young man,

physically put together young man. And just really impressive talent, really impressive skill.

This is a big time pickup. Like I said, when before he reclassified and before his injury,

he was ranked as the number two overall player in the country and the number one quarterback in the country in the 2028 class. And so to be able to get on him the way that they were beat

Ohio State for him, Ohio State wanted him, they have a quarterback in the class, but they still wanted Champ Monge,

so I think it's very telling. This is a huge, huge win for Notre Dame,

huge win for Notre Dame. Just a big time went. To be able to, and what does it say about

Champ Monce, too too that he committed to

Notre Dame despite the fact that Notre Dame has two kids committed two four-star kids

committed in the class ahead of him i think that says a ton ton about him no doubt about it

somebody at the quarterback position at Notre Dame can't be afraid of

competition. And Champ Monz is definitely not afraid of the high level. I mean, we just spent

over two and a half hours yesterday breaking down the outlook of Notre Dame's quarterback

room and it's that of a very, very talented unit. And Champ Monz now gets to add his name into that

mix, but definitely not afraid of competition. Class impact is going to be absolutely huge. Obviously, he's the 12th overall commitment in this 2027 class. And then with Teddy Girard reclassifying, they kind of needed a, you know, people like to say, like a leader of the recruiting class to help bring everybody together. And I think this is coming at a perfect time. They're looking to close on some 2027 wide receiver recruits. There's yet to be one officially landed on the board. So bringing in a 2027 quarterback is going to be absolutely huge. Not that Teddy Gerard told everybody to lose his number once he reclassified to 2026, but it is good to kind of have that figure head at the top of the class. And champ minds is one heck of a guy.
