into what is primarily overloaded with kids and family movies.

There's something wonderfully transgressive

about blood-soaked entertainment leaking all over sweet stories

about Santa and reindeer and the joys of family.

There are tons of Christmas movies,

Violet Night, Black Christmas, Rare Export,

Silent Night, Deadly Night, dozens more.

Of course, Halloween is ground zero for holiday horror movies,
