This week my old friend Jan Doolittle Wilson joins me to cover an Aureish

chapter. I need to apologize for the audio feed. I have two very legitimate excuses

this week as finals week so I was doing a lot of final grading or exams and

whatnot in addition to that jury duty. Jury duty I've never had it before. So you're

basically getting the raw feed from Jan and my conversation. The quality is

not necessarily to my liking and I do apologize for that. In addition to that

because of my jury duty this fantasy fantasy league I've been talking about on

this podcast had to be postponed and so life happened. Life happened this week

but I hope you enjoy this conversation with Jan nonetheless. I always

Wilson. So I've been thinking a lot about Oklahoma. Yes. Well for a lot of reasons

I've been thinking this is sort of a lame thing to do to you because you're the

only person I know in Oklahoma. But it's been on my mind a lot and I'll tell you

for two reasons my wife just started killers of the flower moon. I don't know if you're

familiar. Yes. Everybody was very excited when they did filming here. Yes. So in you

know sort of before the film comes out and then she just started it and so then

like she's almost finished and I'm just beginning. My husband has read it I have

not. I should say. I can't really comment on the book. I just can tell you that

again people here were very excited that Leo was here and Scorsese and they

did a lot of filming and some of the historic sections of downtown Tulsa and
