I read a headline from the O.C. Register the other day that read, the presidential debate quickly descends into chaos.

I couldn't help with think, didn't it all start in chaos? Every election comes with mudslinging.

That's been the truth since America was founded. Even Teddy

Roosevelt put his opponents down, though I'd say his approach was a lot more subtle than today's

politicians. The great fundamental issue now before our people can be stating weak, it is, are

the American people fit to govern themselves to rule themselves to control themselves.

I believe they are.

My opponents do not.

Things sure have changed since those days.

Now that everyone has a phone in their pockets, rumors spread faster than ever before.

We talked all about disinformation in part one.

And if you haven't heard it yet again, just make sure that you do give it a listen.

Suffice it to say, boaters have a lot more in their plate than ever before.

You've got to wait through all the muck of misinformation.

You've got to cast a wary eye over your Twitter feed.

And you really have to constantly research every little thing to make sure that you're not being

misled, especially by the algorithms that are all over social media.
