Summary

How on Earth can you follow a "Lost Lunch" episode with Carl Reiner? Well, if you're Phil and David you revisit and offer a brand new introduction to your absolutely hilarious and inspiring 2022 lunch with a living legend, the one and only Elaine May. In her very first and perhaps only podcast appearance, the great Elaine May joins us for a "Naked Lunch" exclusive to discuss her long and groundbreaking career in comedy and in movies. Now 90, May insightfully and hilariously retraces the foundations of her game-changing improv comedy with Mike Nichols, her experiences directing movies like "A New Leaf," "The Heartbreak Kid," "Mikey and Nicky" and "Ishtar" and working with everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Walter Matthau to Dustin Hoffman and Bill Murray on "Tootsie." Hear Elaine May's amazing stories, some of her iconic comedy bits, and her first-ever sampling of Langer's famous pastrami! To learn more about building community through food and "Somebody Feed the People," visit the Philanthropy page at philrosenthalworld.com.
