Hello everyone and welcome to Talk Nurdy. Today is Monday, June 5th,

2023 and I'm the host of the show Kara Santa Maria and as always before we

dive into this week's episode I do want to

thank those of you who make talk nerdy possible but even before I do that I

want to thank you all and I guess. I don't know if I should apologize, but thank you for your patience and your understanding as I slogged through the very last few months of my PhD, I'm doing a full-time internship, I'm also

podcasting and I'm trying to finish my dissertation and it is like having three full-time jobs,

it's great.

And so every once in a while there will probably be an episode that doesn't make

it to air and that's okay. It's not like you're going to miss anything. I'll just push it out the very next

week. That happened last week week that's why we had no

episode I always try to let you guys know on social media but of course for those of

you who don't follow on on Twitter or Facebook or any of those places you may not have seen that there was no new episode and just discovered it yourself.

But anyway, I do want to thank you for your patience because we've got a good one for you this week.
