It's crazy that the day you walk out the door, people stop calling you.

I think what's different in the military is there's just such a stark contrast.

The culture is different. The uniform is different.

The language is different. Everything's different.

And then you walk out the door and that's all gone.

It all comes down to check the boxes, move on.

That's why I encourage veterans to get to know other veterans who have already been through this process.
