So the Blue Jays have had an off season, sort of unlike other Blue Jays off seasons we've seen.

We kind of got used to the idea of Alex Anthopolis as a very active GM, always making trades or signings or claims.

And we haven't seen much of anything out of him this winter.

And it's sort of strange if you look at the contrast in comments that he was making in, say, September versus what he's saying today.

In September he was saying, you know, the rotation is a glaring need and it's an obvious hole.

And we need to do something to fix it.

And lately he's saying, no, we're okay with the guys that we have.

And Scott Boris recently came out and criticized the team's ownership for not letting the baseball people spend.

And of course, Anthopolis immediately responded and said ownership has been outstanding and given us everything we wanted.
