welcome back. Howdy. So there is a subgenre of saber metrics that is devoted specifically to the

Rockies and to course field and what the effects of course field are and whether the Rockies can

win there and if so how and you contributed another article to this subgenre in your Rockies essay

talking about what course is effect is on home runs and and pitching and whether the Rockies can

succeed there and whether the ballpark affects talent or whether talent is important there.

Can you sort of go through the study that you did and explain your findings? No, I can't Ben,

sorry. I shouldn't ask before we had you on if you could do that. Oh, okay fine.

Yeah, it is kind of a subgenre of people trying to figure out what do we do with course because

it's just such a it's just such an outlier park. It it always has been an even I mean we've

been doing the humidor thing for what 10 years at this point and it's still kind of it's that

you know that place where ERAs go to die and you know it's it's it's it's it's kind of a crazy

thing like I said okay we kind of know you know it scores you get oh I don't know 83% more

home runs hit than than normal and I said okay well it can't you can't just kind of always blame

the ballpark you got to be able to figure out okay well what what could they possibly do and I

think the Rockies have tried you know let's find groundball guys let's see if we can find guys

who strike people out kind of the Ubaldo Jimenez sort from from back in the day and you know maybe
