Summary

Episode 7 takes an in depth look at the world of Private Military Contractors (PMCs). After our time in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Toby Foulke (from episode 3) and I both spent the next 5 years on military contracts all over the world. In 2004 these contracts had ultimate autonomy, there was little oversight and it was up to us as a 16 man team to plan, coordinate and execute various missions with little to no support. This is a very misunderstood and often demonized industry. The truth is the overwhelming majority of men I served with on PMCs were patriots that seized an opportunity to serve their country and be financially compensated well simultaneously.
