And let's do so by starting here.

I'm going to mention a phrase that is going to stun some of you, but I really want you to ruminate on it as we navigate the topic for today's discussion.

And that phrase is the following.

Our Jewish friends would never allow the Nazis to educate their children, certainly not willingly.

I know that seems a little stunning to some of you, but I want you to sit with it because it should be a guiding pillar around which our conversation is structured.

And that pillar again says that Jews would never willingly allow the Nazis to educate their children.

All right. Let's get into it.

A few weeks ago, we learned that the Department of Education was

issuing a mandate that essentially said that if your school had any programs that were connected

in any way to so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts or accessibility, we often

forget the A at the end of the DEI, There is a DEIA, and that's accessibility.

But the Department of Education issued a mandate that essentially said, if you are attending an American school and your school is one that is continuing with policies, with curriculum, with programs that are in any way connected to diversity, equity, and inclusion that they were going

to be in violation of the new president, Donald Trump's executive order, which bans diversity,

equity, and inclusion programs. Now, in later episodes, we'll unpack whether or not that

executive order and its ban is actually legal, but we'll save that for another day. For today's
