A lot of people who watch my channel have reached out and told me that my videos in some way

helped them not to fall into the far right kind of pipeline because often they'll say like,

oh, I was watching all these Ben Shapiro videos and I was really annoyed at feminists and

like, but like your videos I didn't feel judged by and they get opened my eyes and gave

me this perspective that sort of took some of the appeal out of Ben Shapiro.

That's really, that to me feels good.

I've found recently myself frustrated and increasingly disquited or just with unease

about like the state of the discourse capital D.

Now that's, I mean, that's sort of permanently true.

If you spend all your day on the internet and on social media and like arguing with people

and reading stuff and reading people who are arguing with other people, you are constantly

in this kind of weird vortex of verbal battle and conflict that's probably like completely

unnatural.

I mean, it's definitely completely unnatural.

There's something kind of, you know, satisfying about it just because I like intellectual

stimulation because I like argumentation and I like debate and I like public issues and

I like examining things and I like back and forth and I like learning new things, which

is why I do what I do for a living.
