You've taken shortcuts in your life and some have worked and some have not. This is not the time to take a shortcut.

If you trip on sagebrush route, on gopher hole, stumble on a rock, if you stumble even once you will not get up again.

The contrast between that environment, that ecosystem, that landscape, and then the one you grew up in is so incredible.

I mean, it's like a dual citizenship on two different planets.

There's so much opportunity in the shittiest day of your life to have a lesson be learned and you must extract

something out of it or you truly will be losing. So that's my thing is the

curiosity that drives me right now is I am tremendously driven

by what we're capable of doing when we clean up our act and just say I'm going to go for it. When I was on the forest floor

dying I feel like I was reduced back to that place where mortgage payments

didn't matter and career didn't matter and all the noise that calcifies our most unique

vibrant selves was no longer present it was like the ultimate ultimate

descaling moment for me and so all that was left was this kicking, screaming, vibrant,

primal person that knows only one thing. Live. In the words of Lantani, go fight win.
