At the sports radio with Dave Ziren, I did not boom today.

This has been a week of absolutely heartbreaking news across this country.

I'm joined by the coach, Kevin McNutt.

How are you doing, coach? Doing well, brother. Doing well. I mean joined by the coach, Kevin McNutt. How are you doing, Coach?

Doing well, brother, doing well.

I mean, first of all, as we're recording this show, I personally, as a New Yorker and as a human being,

I'm in a state of anger after a grand jury in Staten Island made clear what a grand jury in

Ferguson made clear.

And that's that black lives do not matter in this criminal justice system.

You know, Langston Hughes once said,

Justice is a blind goddess,

is a thing to which we black are wise.

Her bandage hides two festering sores where once perhaps were eyes.

And that's how I'm feeling.

So on this show, after this break coach, I think one thing that it might be, what I'd like to do is shut my own mouth and just hear your own thoughts about the last couple weeks.

I mean, since we lasted a show, it seems like not two weeks, but two lifetimes ago

with Ferguson, Staten Island, Michael Brown, Eric Garner. And we also are later in the show going to talk
