Okay, so let's jump into the news here.

Right before we started recording, news came out that David Jenkins, who is the creator of the

HBO series, Our Flagmeans Death, is in the

process of working on a booster gold show for HBO Max. I think we've talked a little bit about

booster gold in the past. I want to say Jody Hill was in talks to work on this show at one point.

He seems to have fallen away now. But Booster Gold is a

DC Comics character who I think largely is set in the future. Like it comes from the future

and it comes back to the present time and becomes a superhero. And there's a whole deep

history and lore with this character that you can read about on your own time. We don't need to get into all of that. But I just wanted to ask you guys real quick what you thought about David Jenkins as a potential fit for the showrunner for this. Have either of you seen our flag means death? I have. I kind of fell off after the first season just because just the amount of volume of, you know, shows that I needed to get through at the time. But I do have, I don't have much familiarity with the comic book character, but at least on the David Jenkins side of things, I do feel like he's kind of bringing that, you know, irreverent, you know, kind of snappy sense of humor that you

probably need for a character like this from my understanding of what the character is. I think he's proved to stuff. I think this is kind of as good as, I guess, a creative get that you can, you can find for a show like this, especially for an HBO series that after like the Penguin and, you know, a lot of these other shows, they're kind of gunning for Emmys here too. And I'm kind of curious how this fits into James Gunn's overall vision for the DC franchise. So I think there's potential here, even if I'm not too familiar with how it should shake out. Yeah, I'm very much on that same page. Ryan, I'm guessing you did not watch our flag

means desk because you're not like a big TV person. Is that correct? Yeah, that's correct. But, but I will say it's funny because I'm on the other side of it where I, Booster Gold is one of the, like, DC characters. I'm not as nearly as much of a DC guy as I'm a Marvel guy, but I've always like booster gold. And I've been like kind of hoping they were going to do something with this for a long time.

And it's one of those things that was in development as a movie for a long time.
