It's Brian Rose from London Real. We are here in the city of London and behind me is I-CAP PLC, which is a company I worked out for nine years.

They're an inter-dealer broker and I used to go in there for 12 hours a day working the phones.

We each had about a meter of space and our job was to do one thing, which was trying to make as much money as humanly possible.

It was a lot of fun. I miss it sometimes and sometimes I'm very glad I left.

This week's episode is interesting because it's with Mr Eddie Obeng, who is a educator and he's also a professor at the

Henley School of Business.

And funny enough, I had one of my old clients in on this, and his name is Patrickricker as you might remember him from a previous show

which we called Goldman trader to fight maker

and uh... patrick used to uh... trade the same things that i was slinging every day

which are credit derivatives,

and it was nice to see Patrick and Eddie kind of go at it

when it came to different ideas as far as banking, management,

and that kind of thing.

So a little bit different episode. It felt like almost like an

episode of crossfire from CNN back in the day, but it was a lot of fun. We've just dropped the

Daniel Pink episode this week and the response has been fantastic. If you want to get a

copy of his book to sell his human, then just tweet out a quote from that

episode. It was really interesting having him on and talk about some of his ideas as far as what

motivates humans and it was interesting because his conclusion is that the more

money actually doesn't motivate someone and they really want autonomy

mastery and a purpose.

And it's actually kind of why I left this whole city environment
