Edward just finished something pretty incredible and we're going to celebrate with Edward during today's 10-minute walk.

As I'm walking, the sun has risen, I think it was seven minutes ago,

according to my clock.

And as I look off to the east, I can't actually see the sun there are trees that are

blocking my view but there's a mix of clear sky and clouds and it looks like for those who

actually can see the sun it's probably a really nice sunrise and I think we're expecting some sunshine, at least for part of the day.

It rained last night and where I'm walking still very wet. I want to share with you an email that

I received this week from Edward Ed. He writes on June 3rd, 2024, so a year ago. I set out to walk 10,000 steps

every single day for a year. No exceptions. I'm proud to say that as of today, I've hit that goal

every single day without missing once, a full trip around the sun. For me, that's a huge deal.

Over the years, I've had plenty of fitness-related goals, mostly weight-focused or short-term,

and I rarely saw them through to perfection, but this one, I was perfect, like pitching a perfect game.

I didn't overhaul my lifestyle or start a new diet, I simply walked.

And the benefits have been undeniable.

I lost 30 pounds early on, which was great.

But the real difference has been in my energy and core strength.

I made one key adjustment going to bed earlier

so I could wake up at 4.30 in the

morning and hit the road for a morning walk. Getting up is never easy, but once I'm out the door,

it only takes a few steps before the energy kicks in and I'm fully awake, ready to take on the day.
