After all these wonderful speakers we've had here, I wondered why they had saved me for this spot.

As some of us used to say in show business, this is a spot you wouldn't give a leopard.

But I understand that it's not because I deserve this final spot.

I think it's mostly because I have two stories.

I forgot to introduce myself.

I, in Southern California, usually I'm greeted with an answer as those of you who have visited that far of the country know so I'll introduce myself.

Now, I want to keep my anonymity.

I know anybody here who sees my face, and here's my name.

I will certainly not have any idea who I am.

So, I will say that my name is Ed, and I am a grateful alcoholic.

My wife, God bless her, gave me a whole bunch of notes, and there they are over there.
