Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray through the Bible verse by

verse with joy, with attention, and with so much hope and praying even now as I think about

reading today's passage for you and just thank you for the privilege of being in your earbud every day.

I also just feel prompted to pray for someone with liver issues.

I don't know much about that, but I will pray for it. Jesus, I pray for my friend who is battering,

battling liver issues, whether it be cirrhosis or some other issues that are coming. I pray, Lord,

that you would give doctors really good insight on to what to do,

the right medicine, the right treatment. And of course, I also pray that you would heal them

and bring them back to health. In the midst of a difficult journey, I know that in having

those kinds of issues, sometimes people are really, really tired. So I just pray you be the lifter of their heads and help them to know that you have not forsaken

them, you have not left them, you are with them, you are carrying them, and you have a plan

for them that is good even though we may not be able to discern it.

I pray this in Jesus' name.

English Bible. This is what it says. For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this,

that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God. Whether it is love or hatred, man doesn't know it, all is

before them. All things come alike to all. There is one event to the righteous and to the wicked,

to the good, to the clean, to the unclean, to him who sacrifices, and to him who doesn't sacrifice.

As is the good, so is the sinner, he who takes an oath as he who fears an oath.

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all.
