Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

Today, I feel compelled to pray for someone who's struggling in their job.

And so, Lord Jesus, I lift up my friend who is struggling.

They maybe don't understand what's going on.

0:16.9

They're not being communicated with.

0:18.7

They don't know if they're doing a good job or a bad job.

And I pray, Lord, even today, as within the hearing of my voice, that there would be a turnaround

there.

And if there is no turnaround and if things get worse, I pray for provision of a new job that

would fit them better and help them to find joy and satisfaction in their daily work.

It's no fun, Lord, to not like our jobs.

It's certainly no fun if we're not succeeding.

It's certainly no fun if we are being unfairly judged.

So many different things can go on.

Or maybe we're having a difficult relationship in our job.

Would you just be there for us?

and this is what it says. Cast your bread on the waters, for you shall find it after many days.

Give a portion to seven, yes, even to eight, for you don't know what

evil will be on the earth. If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth,

and if a tree falls toward the south or toward the north in the place where the tree falls,
