I've been having a hard time figuring out how I want to introduce this story because the headline itself makes it very difficult to commit the story because Kayla Nicole, who is best known for dating Travis Kelsey, even though she also has a very

thriving sports journalism career, she wants the press to stop calling her Travis Kelsey's X.

She recently went on the second win podcast and said that the media needs to label her

or something else at this point. But also said that she is admitting to not being well media

trained to handle some of these more difficult press interviews. Like most recently, she went on Angel

Reese's podcast, unapologetically Angel. And there were a ton of headlines that came out that,

I mean, you know, headlined a lot of the things that most people were curious about, which is how

she was

handling the backlash from Travis Kelsey getting a new girlfriend and what that's been like.

And she says, she's admitting she didn't handle it well.

I could have used a little PR training and learning how to navigate the space with the media

because I was going into interviews thinking a little

naively like, oh, you know, they just want to hear my story.

They want to know about tribe therapy.

They want to know about my wellness journey.

You know, you sit there and you do an hour-long interview with someone and the headline

is maybe one sentence that you said of like, yeah, I was heartbroken and devastated

because I went through a breakup. And that's the headline. Like, someone's so is ex is devastated still

and she's sad and she's depressed. So I think this is a perfect example of just how difficult it is
