A Republican revolt against President Donald Trump is brewing as the parties divided over his anti-weaponization fund, the White House ballroom, and more.

Two sources familiar with the matter tell CNN the Trump administration has no plans to make any imminent changes to the president's

$1.8 billion fund. It would use taxpayer money to compensate people who claim they've been

treated unfairly by the Justice Department, possibly including January 6th defendants. And some Senate

Republicans are not happy about it. But I just don't know how this puppy dog will work.

I do not support the Webination Fund, as it has been described.

I mean, this is just stupid on stilts.

This is bad policy, it's bad timing, and it's bad politics.

That last senator you heard was Tom Tillis,

who Trump lashed out on in a truth social post this morning.

He called the North Carolina senator a quitter and accused him of, quote, screwing the Republican Party.

This Republican rift could complicate other aspects of Trump's agenda.

The Senate left Washington yesterday without passing a bill for immigration enforcement funding,

and the GOP is also up in arms about funding for Trump's ballroom.

A provision for $1 billion in security funding that includes the ballroom is now expected to be stripped.
