And today I know I said I wasn't going to be here, but what can I say? I missed you all.

And that is simply just the ebb and flow of life. I loved that saying to be honest.

Ebb and flow, what is the ebb and flow? I think wiki or the dictionary defines it as two phases of the tide or any similar movement of water or we could say energy.

So when the energy is going outwards in a phase and when the flow is coming back inwards, right?

And this is usually used in the terms of water, but we're going to use it in the terms of energy.

Now there's a simple ebb and flow to everything throughout our days, throughout our consistency, right?

Sometimes our consistent schedule, our consistency is in an outward phase, meaning it's an action, it's in the right direction, right?

It's at a higher frequency and sometimes it's a little bit more inward.

Meaning we're not doing as much on the outward surface, but we're doing more on the internal work, right?

A lot of times we only put our value on what we're doing in the outward sense, right?

Because that's what people can see, that's what we can see, right?

We like our actions to speak, don't we?

We like our gifts to show them to the world, don't we?

What the interesting thing is, the work that goes on inside is just as important, right?

The times when the energy comes back inwards, when the tide comes in, that's a time of rest, that's a time of reflection.

And often that's a time of deep work.

We see ebb and flow in our relationships, sometimes relationships are so intensified, right?

Sometimes the energy is hot, there's a lot of fire, there's a lot of passion, and then sometimes there's not, sometimes there's a little bit more distance.

And when there's a little bit more distance, right?

When the flow comes back inward, meaning we start to get anxiety, we start to think that that relationship isn't what it used to be,

and isn't going to be what it used to be.
