Yeah, the U.S.'s project freedom was intended to guide ships through the strait, but instead the Iranians opened fire yesterday. So oil rose, stocks, and yet today's podcast is the best one we've ever done.

In economics, there's no such thing as a free lunch. But here's the wild twist yeties. While

Gwok is always extra, right now, it's less extra than ever. We got a trade war, a real war in Iran.

Prices of everything have been popping for five years. And yet the iconic avocado that has bankrupted our Venmo account is down. And it's according to Fed data. Avocado prices are lower today than they were 10 years ago. Get this, the average avocado over Kroger, it's under one buck. Small avocados, they're 45 cents at H.E.B. Chipotle is still charged in $2.95, but everywhere else, it is cheaper. The avocado has gone from Ferrari prices to Ford's. Yeah, it's got from Aramae's prices to mayonnaise prices. And the reason is down in Mexico, we had the best avocado harvest since the Mayans.

Yeah, those Mayans. You see, we had the perfect amount of rain, the perfect amount of sun.

2026, the weather has been avocado idyllic.

And longer term, Mexico has been doubling down on millennials' favorite fruit by changing fields from whatever was there before to avocado trees today.
