Welcome to the Bob and Sherry show as we kick off yet another fabulous week, and I hope it's hot enough for you.

Have you ever seen the TV commercial?

It comes on one of the channels that my husband watches a lot, so it might be one of the ESPNs,

and it tells you that you need to buy some sort of, I think it might be title insurance,

or scammers can steal your home out from under you.

Have you seen it?

I've seen that.

I heard it on a radio station once too.

Yeah.

And because it's on one of the sports channels, I, it's always, I hear it a lot in the background and I always think to myself, what is that, how does that even work?

Like someone steals the title to your house

and then they pretend it's theirs and then they can do things and then your life is ruined

and how does that even work? Well, it just happened to a man in Connecticut. Listen to this.

So his name is Dr. Daniel Kenningsburg. And when his mom passed away in 2007, he inherited his parents' property in the town of Fairfield, Connecticut. It's about a half an acre.
