Hello.

My name is Matt Mullins.

We are two ministers and two friends who love the stories of the Bible.

We want to tell you about them and friend you have joined us during Easter week and

during Easter week Todd and I walk through the events each day of Easter week and today

we've arrived on Saturday, sometimes called Silent Saturday, the day right before Easter.

That's correct.

That's right.

So silent Saturday.

Why is it called that?

Well, because it was silent, here's what we mean by that.

We know that something really terrible happened and yet it was the fulfillment of scripture

when Jesus was crucified on the cross and yet at the same time we know that his body

is dead.

He's been buried in a tomb right in a cave and man, that's really, really sad and there's

silence that's fallen on all of his disciples who've probably scattered now.

There's uncertainty.

There are people who are, you know, they were hoping that something else was going to happen.

And you know, I think sometimes in life when we go through really, really hard things,

sometimes we just don't have the words.

And the scripture does not give really not a lot on what happened on the Saturday before
