My name is Matt Mullins.

We are two ministers and two friends who love the stories of the Bible.

We want to tell you about them.

And friend, you have joined us during Easter week.

And during Easter week, Todd and I walk through the events each day of Easter week.

And today we've arrived on Saturday, sometimes called Silent Saturday, the day right before Easter.

That's correct.

That's right.

So Silent Saturday.

Why is it called that?

Well, because it was silent.

Here's what we mean by that.

We know that something really terrible happened, and yet it was the fulfillment of

Scripture when Jesus was crucified on the cross.

And yet at the same time, we know that he is, his body is dead.

He's been buried in a tomb, right? In a cave.

And, um, man, that's really, really sad.

And there's silence that's fallen on all of his disciples who've probably scattered now.

Um, there's uncertainty.

There are people who are, you know, they were hoping that something else is going to happen.
