test when I was a kid Easter services were a little different growing up we

would move all the chairs out into the parking lot of our church and they

would set up crosses and we had to go to sunrise and we would do church out

in the parking lot and I remember there was different music that day but one

of the most memorable differences was there was a woman in our church that would

always walk up to people and say he is risen and what I understood later is that

she meant it as a greeting and there was a response I heard older people respond

to her by saying he is risen indeed yes but I didn't understand that as a kid

and she was a little woman and would sneak up on me and so for the first

couple years of Easter she was suddenly coming an angle and go he is risen in my

response was I just wasn't ready for her approach but as I came to

anticipated in my teenage years it still struck me as odd and so she would come

up to me and say he is risen and I would say okay and that was the end of our

time together now why mention that to you because we're here celebrating Easter

and this is the day that not just for us but billions of people around the

globe declare to the world he is risen and I think billions more respond okay

like not mad but not thrilled sort of failing to see the significance of that
