0:32.8	on behalf of the earth that's ever happened in human history.
0:37.5	And on Sunday, the 21st, there's going to be a people's climate march in New York City,
0:42.9	but it's also happening this activity in about 188 plus other countries around the world.
0:52.6	And of course, there's the UN Climate Summit.
0:55.3	There's a lot going on.
0:56.8	And in one way to look at it, as humans are actually really waking up to the crisis of our planet.
1:06.2	And another view is it's happening really slowly.
1:11.0	It's scary how slowly there's a huge amount of indifference and ignorance.
1:17.7	What I'd like to do tonight is through the lens of Dharma, through the lens of what
1:24.4	sometimes described as a spiritual path or the bodhisattva path.
1:28.3	And the word bodhisattva bodhi means awakened and sattva is being.
1:35.1	Through this path that we're all on really, of waking up, how can we view this?
1:41.8	What's our role?
1:43.4	How do we pay attention?
1:46.3	And I've been inspired since I was a young girl by the Museum of Natural History in New York.
1:52.6	That's the place we used to go with my parents and learn about the planetarium was awesome.
1:58.8	And it's just an amazing museum.
2:00.4	And in recent years, they've done a lot on global warming.
