What was or is your parents, grandparents, relationship with the natural world?

How have you observed them relating to their own bodies?

What have they said about their own bodies?

What memories, if any, do you have of those who came before you in your lineage as they relate to earth and body connection?

It was really struck when Lindsay and Scott Corsell asked me these questions during the course of our interview.

And this episode today is a little different because I was not interviewing.

Lindsay and Scott, they were interviewing me for their new podcast, Homestead and Heal.

You might remember Lindsay from a past medicine stories episode a few years ago.

It was called The Living Matrix of Fasha and the Resonance of of the heart and it was very good episode very

well received I loved it Lindsay is a very wise body worker with a lot of hands-on

experience on women's bodies and her own and her family's bodies, tuning into the fascia and the stories that we

hold there. And Scott is a farmer, gardener, sixth generation, Vermonter, as we talk about in this

episode, in that long, unbroken lineage of being on one piece of land.

And they have three kids and are just living a really beautiful, simple life on the land.

But they're also in the modern world on the Zoom call hosting a podcast.

And so the questions they asked me during the interview,

I loved so much and had my wheels turning so much that once we stopped recording,

I said, hey, why do you guys think about me putting this interview in my feed as well?

And they readily agreed.

And I'm really grateful because I think it serves the larger mission of medicine stories as well.

how how and when our food ways got disrupted and then relatedly how connection to the earth
