| 0:27.3 | authentication codes, navigating emotions and family dynamics, and how to build systems that actually |

| 0:52.2 | So last time we were on, we talked a lot about deals. |
| 0:54.9 | And today I want to talk about how to earn points even more when you're playing with other players, |
| 1:01.8 | your partner, your kids, your friends. But I want to rewind because I know you do this for multiple |
| 1:06.7 | people. But what was your wife's first reaction when she learned how intense you play |
| 1:12.3 | this game? Yeah. I mean, I think it's probably a pretty common reaction from anyone who |
| 1:17.9 | learns that their partner, their P2, is booking fancy flights, fancy hotels, all of this |
| 1:25.4 | stuff and not paying for it, which is shock and a feeling of like, is this legal? If this seems shady, I don't want to know too much about it, but I'm enjoying these flights and enjoying these hotels. And so, yeah, I think that is the first reaction because I think there's just a lack of understanding of how the system works. And so it feels like magic to a lot of people. And then once you get it, |
| 1:45.2 | and you realize how it works. And you're like, oh, it's actually not that difficult, but there's such a big learning curve. My wife and I have been together for over 20 years. I can't remember when I started playing the game hard, but it was already after we met. You know, I mean people are like, oh, I'm really excited. I now have a P2. And by the way, to one person who wrote a review of this podcast saying, I hate that he refers to his wife as a P2. That's just what we use in this sport. So you get that on a T-shirt. That's a great t-shirt. My wife is my P2. No, she could just wear a little P2 one. You have a P-1 at the airport. You guys will match. P P3 on the kids, even though they're not. They're not old enough yet. But I know people are like, I'm excited to have another player because one of the joys of this game is that when you have multiple people, it's not just that you get to open up the same card twice. It's that you get a referral bonus when you refer your partner. And then it keeps going. So what I want to do today is both explore the tactical side of this and maybe the less tactical |
| 2:40.5 | side and the emotional side of what goes into playing this game with multiple people and |
| 2:46.3 | kind of just see where it goes. |
| 2:47.6 | It's definitely a multi-layered kind of a thing because there's so many |
| 2:51.0 | different tiers to it, I think. And I think a lot of people who are earning a lot of miles and |
