I will be the first to condemn Stearns and the manager and the players after a much larger sample size. What's the sample size? Give me the number. Two years ago, wait a minute, two years ago, they were 22 and 33 on Memorial Day. Look it up. I know. What were people saying then? Last year, in 1969, they were 18 and 23. We know what happened. I'm not saying that's going to happen, but it's way too early. So I have to defend myself. Am I right? Yes and no. I'll tell you where I think you're right and I think you're wrong. In 2024, in 2024, I believed in that team. And so when they were 11 games under 500, I was sitting here on the radio saying, look, I don't think they're going to win the World Series, but they're better than this. Now I look at this team... They're better than this. There's no question. They're better than a 110 lost team, but are they a good team? You had a track record of some players that you knew weren't playing as good as they should be. Which we have on this team, too. Overshed. It's going to perform a lot better. Really? Come on.
