Always is a great job breaking on everything, Ruckers for us every year. Bobby, how you been, man? Been good, been good, you know, just shrugging along up here in Jersey. No doubt. It was a beautiful day up there as we record here in late April.

You know, tough year for Rutgers last year, you know, five and seven, narrowly missing out on the bowl game, you know, two and seven in the big ten.

What's kind of the vibe up there right now? What are they hanging their hat on and what could get better this year?

Well, they got to get better on defense. You know, lowest ranked, uh, power 14 in the FBS and total defense last season. So it's been a complete overhaul,

an entirely new defensive staff, pretty much an entirely new personnel group, um, you know,

a few guys returning and whatnot, guys getting an extra year. You know, that goes, you're trying to do

the math out of these guys get it. But, uh, you know, bringing some of those guys back. You know, that goes, you're trying to do the math how do these guys get it.

But, you know, bringing some of those guys back.

And basically it's a reboot because the last two years were, you know, historically bad defensively.

Brought in Travis Johansen, the former head coach in South Dakota.

He's in charge with running the defense now.

And that's basically the story because,

you know, offensively return a lot of guys. Athiac Manus is going to quarterback who's just drafted

by the Washington commanders in the seventh round. But, you know, there's not as much as a concern on

offense because the defense last year just, you know, it did not allow them to be in some

games because it just couldn't stop anybody. So this year, it's a hopeful return to the Greg

Shiano defenses that were much more, you know, efficient earlier in his tenure. For sure. So he brings

in Travis Johansson as the new defensive coordinator.

Like, obviously a lot of personnel changes too, but like independent of how the players are
