What's going on, y'all, here of the Cover 3 College ball podcast. This is Summer School, and then we are back in session. I know for this one, that's Jared Kelly Pigs.com. We are talking Indiana football today, the defending national champions, man. How cool does that say? Getting to cover that. It's, well, it's still jarring to hear people say that, quite honestly, after, I've been covering Indiana since like 2019.

0:40.0

So just to see the rides has been incredible.

0:42.7

And then just being down in Miami in January, like it felt like just last week, we were there covering the national championship.

0:47.7

So it is really jarring still a little bit to hear that.

0:51.2

Indiana called the national champions.

0:52.8

But it's been, it's been quite the ride to cover it. It was just like what an amazing job, you know, by Signetti to get through that. And they just, they just felt like so prepared for each game and just like, like the moment was not too big despite like, you know, looking back on it. Like that's kind of the team where the moment should have been too big, you know, like, because nobody had ever been there and done that.

And yet they handled it with like just, like, it was just going about their business. Yeah, I think the one thing you heard about Indiana across, you know, the multiple teams they played was they just don't make mistakes. And that was so true last year, right? like they were never the most physical or or uh you know athletically dominant team but they

1:29.6

were always where they needed to be uh true last year, right? Like, they were never the most physical or, or, you know,

1:27.7

athletically dominant team, but they were always where they needed to be, you know,

1:31.9

you didn't have any penalties that just completely killed drives or turnovers or things like

1:35.2

that. Like, the team just operated so well. And they, in my opinion, like, they were the

1:39.6

definition, the purest definition of a team that you can get in college football.

1:44.0

Exactly.

1:44.6

All right.

1:44.9

So coaching staff is back like pretty much intact.

1:48.2

I think they lost a strength coach or something.

1:49.7

But like as far as the coordinators and obviously the headman, they're back.

1:53.1

Everybody got nice extensions.

1:55.6

We'll start offense here.
