In the Eagle Eye series, there were so many details of this story

that I desperately wanted to include in the main episodes,

but couldn't, for a variety of reasons.

Legal, moral, and just for the sake of time.

It's already such a long story.

The story is very sensitive.

It involves real people, death, and crime.

Renee and Dan's family had a lot of lingering suspicions based on certain aspects

that weren't included in these episodes. As fascinating as they are to me, I

didn't feel comfortable including speculation and suspicions around a crime on the main

feed so we decided to do a follow-up episode with all of those details and speculations

but on the Patreon.

Not for legal reasons, but just because it was distracting right but I feel like it's

distracting to you too it's a weird detail he um he jumped wearing swim trunks and you thought that was very very odd.

Yeah, that was a detail.

Yeah, that was a detail obviously I didn't get until later on.

I really started getting a lot more detail into that summer of 2005

into the fall when I was really connecting with his family and they were giving me more information.

And then I also connected with the Merwin County coroner in the fall after reading some
